Two kinds of design, both in-house
Most packaging suppliers can print artwork you send them. Far fewer can turn a product and a budget into a structure that actually works. We do both, which means you are not translating between a designer, a printer and a factory.
Structural design
- Dieline development for new structures, or adaptation of an existing one
- Fitment and insert design — paper, board, EVA or moulded pulp
- Board grade and calliper selection against packed weight and stacking height
- Tolerance planning for multi-cavity and multi-part sets
- Knock-down and assembly assessment: can this be packed efficiently at volume?

Graphic design
- Artwork design for cartons, labels, pouches and bags
- Adaptation of your existing brand assets to a new format
- Print file preparation: bleed, trim, overprint and trapping
- Pantone and spot colour specification, plus CMYK conversion where appropriate
- Barcode, QR and compliance panel layout
- Digital proofs before anything is committed to plate or cylinder
Print preparation and colour
Colour is where sets fall apart. We specify one reference — a Pantone number or a physical sample — and print the components of a set against it, then compare them together on press.
Be aware of one physical limit: a rigid box is printed flat and then wrapped around board, and a corrugated liner absorbs ink differently from a coated carton. Neither will match a flat-printed carton exactly, on any press, from any supplier. We will tell you where the practical tolerance lies before you commit, rather than after you complain.
